The European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) is available for some
countries travelling to the Schengen areas without visas. If you want to stay longer,
you need to meet the Czech Republic government requirements. Check the embassy for the
required visa or work permit to extend your stay in the country. As a general rule,
people often ignore passport validity. Your passport must not be below 10 years to the
visiting date. The expiry date should also be for a minimum of 3 months after you are
scheduled to leave the country.
In conclusion, when the
ETIAS visa will be implemented
by the end of 2022 or beginning of 2023, the owners can visit all the 26 Schengen Area
countries. More so, any traveller who wants to enter the Czech Republic will be screened
with the ETIAS certificate, which is much easier than obtaining a Schengen visa all over
again. The visa is valid for three years, while users can stay in the supposed country
for up to 90 days per visit.
