Non-European countries will need a Schengen visa to visit Malta. However, citizens of the
United Kingdom, the European Union, and
Schengen areas can visit Malta without visas. This is because of the adjustment due to the
Covid-19 outbreak. You need to confirm that you are eligible for a Schengen visa before
applying. Some countries were banned from visiting the country, and the ban has not been
lifted. However, part of the 150 countries that require a Schengen visa before visiting
include; Maldives, Cameroon, Rwanda, Cuba, Mali, Libya, Afghanistan, Algeria, Philippines,
Guinea, Ghana, Congo, United States, Jersey, Zimbabwe, Greenland, and many others. Meanwhile,
about 90 countries can visit Malta without a visa. Some of these countries are:
